  Fight Smart;
There is an old saying, “don’t work hard, work smart. If you learn certain key principles to do a job you will not have to use so much wasted perspiration if you use inspiration. Well in this spiritual warfare we have the choice to fight hard or fight smart. If you understand certain key principles you will not waste energy.
Anything that blinds you, deceives you, puts you in darkness is a big no no. You become dangerous to yourself and everyone around you. When you are blind you swing at everything that moves, other saints, the Holy Ghost, yourself.

We are living in a blind world that doesn’t know which way is up, we laugh at a virgin and praise the promiscuous. What God says is sin, we rename and accept as a part of modern times. A spiritual warrior must use the eyes of the Holy Spirit to know what is good and evil, where to direct your fight. Don’t waste time swinging at shadows, fighting flesh and blood or aiming and missing the mark. God wants you to locate and hit the enemy with the weapons of your warfare. They are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. You must be dependent upon His leading and obey His marching orders.

Here are some principles to help us to see clearly and fight smart.

1.Thinking highly of yourself leads to self deception - This is a specific warning for the spiritual. Operate in meekness or you become a candidate for deception.

2.Thinking you or others can get by without consequences. You reap what you sow.

Gal 6: 3For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. 4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5For every man shall bear his own burden . 7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

  3. Seems religious but does not control of her tongue. (speaks negative about others and self) Everyday you must take authority, no vacations, remind the enemy what God did. As you yield to the Word, take it and use it in warfare. It is quick and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword, it has piercing, explosive power. All of us have snares that have been laid, negative words spoken over us. Do not agree with negative words and do not speak them over yourself or others. Speak life and use the Word as a weapon like Jesus did in the wilderness, ‘it is written’.

4.Be temperate in all things especially your body. You can be a great teacher or preacher but if you don’t bring your flesh under subjection the enemy will eventually be able to disqualify and even kill you.

I Cor 9: 25And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

5.Be diligent in developing Christian character and understanding; without these qualities you are blind. 1.Faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, love .The list is progressive faith is basic first grade, college level is love
You can’t afford to get self righteous, proud and unteachable.

Matt 23: 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

6.Spiritually blind people are more concerned with outward show than inward truth, they have a form of godliness. Traditional, conservative Christians have to be careful of this one. You will begin to think you are better because you wear long skirts, no make up, fast and pray regularly. You start to base your holiness on what you do and look down on others who don’t. Keep being diligent, keep growing. We must always maintain an attitude of meekness, brokenness, humility, repentance, we have to be careful not to focus on just doing what he wants, but becoming who he wants.

7. Hate kills you, you better let it go, it starts with offence then moves to unforgiveness, bitterness, hate; it is progressive, you need to deal with it at the first stages, it is progressively taking more and more of your light so you are darkness. Many good Christians live right here. Hate is not spiritual, it puts you in darkness, you make bad decisions and stumble around believing the devil's lies.

I John 2: He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

Keep your spiritual eyes and ears open by keeping your heart pure before the Lord, obedience keeps your ears open. You are in a battle, you need to know when to swing your sword, when to duck, you need to hear when the Holy Ghost says to fast, pray, get up and declare victory. Get your armor on, hold up your shield of faith. Use your worship weapons, change the atmosphere around you. Make your mouth a weapon for the Kingdom of God, speak life!

                          Prayer Focus for December

 1. Pray that the Body of Christ will have a revelation of the importance of our unity and the power of loving one another.
 2. Pray that the Lord would open the eyes of our hearts and remove the blinders of hate and sin so we can see Him and follow Him.
 3. Pray that we will have a hunger for the Word of God, that we would make place for it with study, memorizing, eating the Word, believing the Word above all else.
4. Bind the spirit of fear in your own life and purpose to put on the whole armor of God daily.
5 Pray for the healing for the marriages of the people of God. There is  explosive power available when we pray with our spouse and pray with other women for the healing of our families.
6. Mark your children for God, claim them as the seed of the righteous, plead the Blood of Jesus over them daily.
7. Pray for your church and your pastor that they would fulfill God's destiny in the community that they are in. Encourage pray in your church.
